The Spirit of a Haveli
The name Haveli comes from the grand traditional homes found across India, places designed not only for living, but for welcoming others. In these homes, family, friends and guests would gather to share meals, conversation and celebration, with hospitality at the centre of everyday life.
Inspired by this tradition, Haveli was created to bring that same spirit of warmth and generosity to Ponteland. Our aim has always been to offer more than simply a place to eat, but a setting where people can come together to enjoy refined Indian cooking, thoughtful service and an atmosphere that feels welcoming and relaxed.
Eight Years of Michelin Recognition
Over the years, this commitment to quality and consistency has been recognised beyond our dining room. Haveli was awarded the Michelin Bib Gourmand for eight consecutive years, a distinction given to restaurants offering exceptional food and value, recognition that reflects the care, craftsmanship and passion our team bring to every dish we serve.
